We are back from our holiday trip to the Northwest. While we were away, we decided to play at the dog show and are pleased to report that Demon came home with another Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for a 3 point major, leaving her needing just 4 points to complete her championship!!!!

We are very behind due to preparing for puppies AND the holiday season, however we are pleased to report that Beyonce has taken so many Group placements and wins, we cant keep up. We brought Sydney out for the first time in several years to show him in veterans. At 10 years of age, he garnered a Best of Opposite Sex Veteran win under AKC Judge Penny King. Penny also told us after the show that he would have been strongly considered for breed, had he been entered!!! Thank you Penny, for your compliments on our PJ baby!

Since we didnt have a special to show at our Memorial weekend shows, we begged our friend Mary Arnold of Bit O'Blarney to enter our favorite male special, Tanner. With an overwhelming entry, Tanner picked up a Best of Breed win. Thanks once again to AKC Judge Barbara Peach!!!

We are a little behind on our NEWS updates but we are pleased to report Beyonce's repeat performance at this years nationals, going Best in Specialty Show AGAIN! HUGE, HUGE CONGRATS Beyonce's breeder/owner Sharon and Beyonce's handler Jamie for another job well done! As if that wasnt sweet enough, the way the week started out, Beyonce's half sisters went Best in Sweeps and Best in Futurity then finished out the week by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners topped off by Miss Beyonce's win! CONGRATS to the Calais/Carolina gang and Lynn Brodine of Wings Aussies for an amazing week in St. Louis!!!

Di emails from Canada to tell us that Dusk takes Reserve to Di's other female. Dusk has had an amazing start at just under a year of age in Canada, starting training in Flyball and Agility as well and Di reports that she is absolutely amazing! Sharon contacts us to give us the stats so far this year. Beyonce has competed in 14 shows, taking 13 Best of Breeds, 3 Group 1's, 5 Group 2's, 1 Group 3 and 1 Group 4.........she is on a roll once again! CONGRATS to Sharon and to Jamie for his wonderful handling (based on the picture, we can tell she adores you) and we cant wait to see her on TV this weekend!!!

After ending the year as the #1 Australian Shepherd Breed and All-Breed, winning the National at Purina Farms and winning Best of Breed at Eukanuba, Beyonce has started the year off right where she left off, with a group win and about half a dozen group placements in the past week on the Florida circuit!!!
