Catori Australian Shepherds does not support the breeding of “Miniature” or “Toy” Australian Shepherds. These dogs are not a recognized breed nor are they considered a variety of the Australian Shepherd in AKC (The American Kennel Club), ASCA (The Australian Shepherd Club of America, Inc.) or any of their affiliates. Therefore, we consider these dogs crossbred and believe that selling them under any of the abovementioned names is a misrepresentation and we, along with many other Aussie breeders, do not support it.
